Simple Machines Forum 1.1.9 and 2.0 RC1-1
Simple Machines SMF 1.1.9 releases published and 2.0 RC1-1 to address multiple vulnerabilities found in SMF 1.1.8 and 2.0 RC1. Given the fact that among the critical fixes for vulnerabilities is present, all forum members are urged to upgrade as soon as possible.
It should be understood that the SMF 2.0 RC1-1 is the second release candidate, but only a security update for 2.0 RC1. Expected new design theme Curve is planned for 2.0 RC2, as was stated earlier.
To upgrade, use the package manager to upgrade to 1.1.9 or 2.0 RC1-1, depending on your version. Just open the Central Administration forum and you’ll notice a proposal to upgrade. Click on the link and confirm your forum has changed and will be updated. Users still use a ruler SMF 1.0.x, can upgrade to SMF 1.0.17 the same way.
