Publishing options modules
Admin panel Joomla provides plenty of opportunity for control modules. Manager menu (the menu item “Modules-> Site Modules”) allows you to publish, disable, copy, delete, edit or create new custom module.
Each module can be configured individually. To do this, select it from the module list and click the Edit »(Edit).
Description publishing options modules:
- Title (Title) – you can set to change the title of the module
- Show title (Show title) – determines whether or not to show heading
- Position (Position) – set position module in the template, which will display the module.
- Order (Module Order) – choosing the next location of the module in this position
- Access Level (Access Level) – the level of access to the module has three options:
- Public – accessible to all
- Registered – available only for registered users
- Special – available for viewing only the site administrators
- Publication (Published) – Publication of the module (yes, no)
- CSS module suffix class (Module Class Suffix) – with the help of the suffix is ??given Alternative Style modulo
- Binding to the menu (Menu Item Link (s)) – the menu item, which will be published module
Suppose you want to publish a module in position left. Perform the following steps:
- Select the menu item “Modules-> Site Modules” Joomla admin panel
- Choose a module, and click the Edit »(Edit)
- In the combo box “Position» (Position) choose left.
- Push the button “Save» (Save)
We represent a different situation: you must publish the module only on the main page, do not show it to others. Perform the following steps:
- Select the menu item “Modules-> Site Modules” Joomla admin panel
- Choose a module, and click the Edit »(Edit)
- In the “Bind to the menu” select mainmenu | Home.
- Push the button “Save» (Save)
