Insert links to materials by using the Linkr

In a previous article we talked about how to insert a link to the material using the JCE Editor. However, this is not the only way to achieve a desired result. Another solution is to use the component Linkr. This small component is, in principle, the same function as the plugin AdvancedLink visual editor JCE.

After installing the component and two extensions to the edit page of material you will see the button add a link to the text material. Consider this in stages.

After installing the component on a page edit material, under the editor, the bottom button appears «Linkr». Insert a link as follows:

1. Need to allocate a portion of text material
2. Press the button «Linkr» at the bottom of the page
3. In the window that opens, select the desired material
4. Press the button «Get Link»

Also in the pop-up window, you can set different parameters for generated links. A link can be made not only on other stuff, but the downloaded media files, contacts, or menu items. This component is simple to install, configure and use.
